Dhaba style Dahi Chicken

Perfectly tangy and spicy dhaba style Dahi Chicken. So quick and easy to prepare and works magic on your tastebuds!!

Ingredients:

  • Chicken –
  • Onion – 2 medium sized chopped
  • Tomato paste – 2 teaspoons
  • Ginger garlic paste – 2 teaspoons
  • Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Chilly powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Coriander powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Chicken masala – 2 teaspoons
  • Garam masala – 2 teaspoons
  • Dahi (thick Yogurt) – 1 cup
  • salt to taste

Recipe

  • Marinate chicken with all the ingredients except onion, ginger garlic and tomato. Set aside for at least half an hour.
  • Saute ginger, garlic, sliced onions and tomatoes in oil.
  • Add the marinated chicken along with 1 tablespoon of water. Cover and cook until chicken is done and oil separates from the gravy.

Notes

  • You can add 1 chopped tomato instead of tomato paste.
  • Do not add extra water otherwise the gravy will not get too thick.
