Perfectly tangy and spicy dhaba style Dahi Chicken. So quick and easy to prepare and works magic on your tastebuds!!
Ingredients:
- Chicken –
- Onion – 2 medium sized chopped
- Tomato paste – 2 teaspoons
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 teaspoons
- Turmeric powder – 1 teaspoon
- Chilly powder – 2 teaspoons
- Coriander powder – 2 teaspoons
- Chicken masala – 2 teaspoons
- Garam masala – 2 teaspoons
- Dahi (thick Yogurt) – 1 cup
- salt to taste
Recipe
- Marinate chicken with all the ingredients except onion, ginger garlic and tomato. Set aside for at least half an hour.
- Saute ginger, garlic, sliced onions and tomatoes in oil.
- Add the marinated chicken along with 1 tablespoon of water. Cover and cook until chicken is done and oil separates from the gravy.
Notes
- You can add 1 chopped tomato instead of tomato paste.
- Do not add extra water otherwise the gravy will not get too thick.
